Good luck with that…

A better set of steps may be: open the box, verify it works, register it, box your old camera and put that under the Xmas tree.

Except I have a couple of sports things to shoot and my other camera is a 7d2. I'd rather have it for those. :-) But it will be tough knowing it is sitting there.

My office just called and said mine was delivered. I’ll be doing good not to call them and have them open it for me!

All but the printer got delivered today. Took the camera out, put a good battery and sd card in. Fired it up and took a dozen or so shots. Registered it and boxed it back up. Playing with the test images now, but looks good. I have a 7d2 so that eases up on the temptation some. The controls are similar enough to the 7d2 it will be easy switching back and forth. touch screen is nice for going through menus.

Now I need to go buy a tree to put it under.:lol:

WARNING:::::

Be EXTREMELY cautious with this deal and it's Rebate Offering. I've done my fair share of Mail-In-Rabates and jumped on this deal for the 5D MARK IV bundle Simply because of an sale Adorama was offering which also "QUALIFIED" me for the MIR, I just checked the status update on my submission and my current status shows "PROGRAM VIOLATION" We could not fulfill your rebate because your supporting information showed that your purchase did not fulfill the terms of the program.

Now this is just horrible as I know for sure that all the proper paperwork and required documents were submitted. So again I warn you in advance. You can be sure that I would never ever deal with any Mail In Rebate type promotions again. If they can't offer me the savings UP FRONT, then they don't really exist. I pray not many people will go through what I am right now.

I e searched and can’t find a definite answer. Since I have to check which type of paper I received in the bundle do I need to send in that upc as well?
