Is there a lightroom plug in to directly upload to Photography-on-the-net?

Yes I'm lazy. Has anyone done a plug in that will let me export to my gallery and automatically resize photos?

I would think it would be very difficult, if not impossible to automate the upload of images directly to POTN. The problem is that you can't just upload your image directly to your "POTN gallery", you can only upload to individual posts, and then you can only directly upload two images per post. When you upload an image Pekka's AMASS software will automatically reprocess most images so that they meet the POTN requirements. Actually even if an image meets 1280 px on the long edge, and under 150 KB in size, it is still run through the processor as far as I can see.

I have an Lr Export preset for POTN that is set for 1280 px long edge, sRGB, quality 80, and with full EXIF. This puts the images in a POTN folder and I then delete them fairly soon after uploading. I do have publish service use for my Flickr account, and one set up for Facebook, that I hardly ever use. Those websites though have an established API (Application Programming Interface) for uploading images, designed for third party automation. Even with an API they still sometimes break it with short notice updates.

Thanks.

Not sure how you will do that. There are specific steps involving you having to post, then clicking links to provide any missing exif data, then having to click the image after posting to add to the gallery. The only way to do this is to contact Pekka who designed this forum software to see if he has an API. This isn't some standard forum package like v bulletin or others.
