These are great, I've been using one (Don't remember what size) for a while now. They are very durable and very fast!

That was a great price, but as a heads-up, you need to be very careful when plugging the USB cable into and out of the unit. Sandisk designed the USB receptacle poorly and many people have had a problem with it pulling out.

I'm hoping for a good deal this holiday season on a 1 TB Samsung T5...much faster and far more robust.

Understand. The ssd is nice. I have 2 Samsung ssd and love size and speed. one T1 and a T3. Both work well, but the more compact T1 size was nice, but occasionally had connection problems requiring a re-boot. T3 has been problem free.

You can alternatively get 1TB internal SSDs and just get a sata to USB adapter, I got an 1TB Samsung for 80$
