I think the new Tamron 85mm pretty much pushed Sigma aside when image quality, rendering and IS are combined. Even before considering cost.

From what I saw the Sigma is the sharpest 85mm out there (including the Otus), but that being said, I would take the Tamron over the Sigma every single time.

Are you still enjoying the Milvus. Between the Milvus and Tamron, which do you prefer now?

I am considering upgrading and/or supplementing my Nikon 85 1.8g. I have the Zeiss 2/135 and am addicted to the rendering, otherwise the Tamron seems like the no-brainer (I also have the Tammy 35 VC which I like a lot, but rendering-wise the Zeiss is on another planet IMO).
