Hi,

As I was walking the beach a woman who was walking toward me spooked this group that flew right by me. Are they Dunlins?

Thanks! Glad that you like the picture. I've looked through Sibley Birds Second Editions and New England Audubon Field Guide trying to determine what they are and think they are dunlins but am not sure. Perhaps I'll just call them dunlins until someone corrects me.

They tend to move fast in a tight group flying along the shore line so its easy to get a picture of them.
