Monitor calibration and NVidia control

My new rig has a dedicated graphics card (Geoforce 1050Ti) and with it there is an NVidia control panel that allows for color control. Within this control panel there are options for NVidia to control the color or let other programs do it. I use the DataColor Spyder5Pro for monitor calibration. I am assuming that I should keep the checkbox on "other progams" in the NVidia control panel as to not cause conflicts with the calibration software, but wanted to be sure. Anyone have any input on what should be controlling what? Thanks.

Thanks for the input. I kind of figured that telling the computer that only one program should control display colors would prevent conflicts. However, I didn't know if NVidias controls were better, more accurate, etc...

For some reason after I updated Windows 10, it deleted all my icc profiles that my SpyderPro5 created. I had to go back and do a full re calibration. Not a huge deal, but now I feel as if the calibration looks "off". As in, overly contrasty. Maybe others can chime in on this if they watch a specific video on Youtube. When I watch Matt Granger's video https://youtu.be/bAAwE​p7NZ_I, his forehead looks weird to me on my screen; like the middle of it is way brighter than his temple and side area. If anyone is willing to view that video and let me know how it looks on your screen (to see if it is my monitor or Matt Granger did a poor job recording it in the first place) I'd be super grateful.
