It's been a long time since I have been on, but I have kept super busy with photography through school and starting a product photography gig for myself that I wrapped up last spring. Due to the rigorous academic needs to finish and transfer colleges as well as getting a job in a busy industry, my poor camera was neglected. However, a wildfire nearby piqued my interests to shoot due to it being so close to home (For the last year I had been doing long exposure night shots in local canyons). So, without any further ado, here is my album from the Thomas fire.

I bet that's just really comforting to know that thing is so close to your house.

I've been watching those fires on the news.....I can't imagine. I hope you all get through this ok.

Thanks man! We are safe right now, thankfully. The closest the fire is happens to be just behind Fillmore, which is 16 miles away from where I shot that (near the house). Right now, it would have to destroy half the county before it even touches us. I'm just hoping the humidity comes back soon.

Been getting images from my son who lives in Ventura. Helluva mess over there and I'll bet everybody is wishing the winds would die down so they can start containing the fire. Terrible.

Well, wow. I've only heard bits on the radio, so the visual is really mind blowing.

Mordor.
