First time attempting concept shoot (Snow)

Wanted to try something different than what I am used to doing. I got the idea from on online video I saw from Adorama.

I like 'em! How did you manage to shoot a 24L II @ 85mm? Sigma 85A, I'm guessing.

Yes. It was the sigma 85 Art.

These are great, judging by the background I take it these were shot in studio?

If you can call my garage a studio, then yes, they were shot in studio.

Unfortunately, I forgot to get any.

This was my setup.

Grey muslin backdrop on a stand. Small flash right next to backdrop and aimed at back of subject to provide fill light.

Subject was lit by the candles from below, and a CTO gelled speedlight from above.

Smoke machine was aimed between fill light and subjects.

Since I used a CTO gelled light, when I corrected the color balance in post, it caused the cool blue light in the background.

Snow was added in Photoshop.
