Snow Flake

This one is my first dabble into macro photography and I would really appreciate some honest critique.
I do understand this is far from the best snowflake to capture. It was just the best one on my front porch.
I'm a worried that the depth of field is just too narrow to get the snowflake, but I also didn't want to ratchet up the ISO.
All critique is appreciated!

It's a good capture. For me I'd try to lift the whites to give it more pop.

Dropped highlights, shadows and blacks...lifted whites a touch.

Wow. That really does bring out a nice pop. I'm relearning a new workflow in DxO, see what I can draw out of it in that. Thank you for the suggestion!

Dago's edit is very nice. When I saw the first photo, I was thinking it needed more contrast.

I might desaturate it a bit to make it fully greyscale. There are a few areas where the cyan is a little distracting.

I know the rule of thirds is almost begging to be broken. But this photo could benefit from it to draw attention to the infocus parts of the snowflake.

Amazing though! I love the detail and bokeh in the foreground.
