Typical of gray market, most likely a kit box with the lens removed. We have seen this before. You could find these online elsewhere from time to time. Good deal if you don't mind the risk of not having a warranty.

Yup good deal. Really driving the used market down too. I'm almost convinced to swap and move to the A7Riii but seems foolish almost for losing my equity.

I think the smarter thing is for me to keep my kit 1 year more. Then the A7riii will drop some and I'll get more life out of my camera. Then swap. Problem is they don't really have the lens selections I want and/or they are really expensive.

The ad states clearly:
"Condition New"
"Warranty: 1yr Parts , 30 day Labor warranty by seller
Seller Warranty Coverage: Import Model , 1yr USA warranty by seller

...it screams 'gray market' goods. We know Nikon USA has refused to service -- even paid by customer -- gray market goods. Whether or not Canon USA decides to enforce such a policy is...??

But for $419 more you can get this, which has a Canon warranty. Also...Receive 13 Months of Free Accidental Damage Protection From Canon.

He posted that almost a week ago. The price has changed. It was, at the time of his post, $419 more for all the extras.

That's correct. And it's also a disappointment, as the special was to be good till the end of December. Well, the special is still available but for a different price.

And if I remember correctly, the special first offered a Watson battery as a spare. Now it shows a Canon battery. Maybe they ran out of Watson batteries?
