Been using 5.7 for some time until my recent purchase of a 5D MK 4 and experiencing inabilty to open raw files. So I bought a copy of LR6 after reading I need 6.7 to import Raw from new 5D4..after a couple of hours I finally installed it. The process kept bringing me to CC, and having to sign in, and out until I finally was able to enter a serial number.
Now it seems I'm locked into CC with stand alone LR6. I can't even begin to tell you how I accomplished the installation.
How do I update to 6.7?

Actually you don't want 6.7. You want 6.14 which is the latest version. People who have been upgrading regularly (6.12 - 6.13 - 6.14) have been OK.

There have been a few complaints and it seems to be with people getting new computers and reinstalling LR. Some cancelling the CC plan, had LR6 and missed updates. You are missing some files and I'm trying to find the patch.

I just amended this post as I found a better solution.

Click on > Download Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and then download the Application Installer.

Thank you, and my apologies for my long absence. I am now able to import the Raw images...Once my trial CC is over I will be able to return to my Stand-Alone LR6
