Youch. Ok, so looks like I'll just wait until someone in the USA has one and wants to sell it maybe. I'm not fooling with shipping from China, no insurance on the package, returns only within 7 days, etc. Oh well.

Very best,

So how do I get my hands on one?!

I could test the following (and more) if someone could get me one;

- EF 500mm f/4L IS II
- EF 200mm f/2L IS
- EF 100-400mm VII
- EF 135mm f/2L
- EF 85mm f/1.8 USM
- EF 28mm f/1.8 USM
- EF 100mm f/2 USM
- EF 50mm f/1.8 STM

3rd Party

- SIGMA 120-300mm f/2.8 OS
- SIGMA 150-600mm c
- SIGMA 100-400mm
- TAMRON 24-70 f/2.8 VC
- TAMRON 70-200mm f/2.8 VC

etc.

I'd be testing on an XT1.

Bobby,

i posted all the video of the AF testing on FB group.

i have 2 AF speed. One is OK and one is Fast. Fast is as native lens on the XT-2. Keep in mind, XT-2 AF system is faster compare to other. Now, if you going to put on a XT-1 then the respond might be different. When i say OK speed, meaning it is not snappy and fast as native lens. HOWEVER, for adapting lens, it is pretty good.

Yes you can.

Af speed of the 70-200mm 2.8 IS II is fast, but not as fast as with Canon 5D body.
Af speed on 85mm 1.8 is little less fast, more hunting and not always on the right place.

Thanks folks. Any chance we see some sequence of shots with the adapters? In my case I would buy an adapter to use Canon lens on my GFX.

I truly appreciate the offer, and I would love to take you up on it, however, my schedule at work is really tough right now, and about to get a lot worse. I realize now that the timing would just be far to tough right now. Thanks again, I wish I could be more help, but I won't really be in any position for free time until late April/early May.

I'm not a pro and don't have a ton of lenses, but if you're looking for someone to test a couple, I just got an X-T1 and have a Canon 85mm f/1.8 and a Tamron 70-300 Di VC USD I could test.
