whats wrong with our leader?

I wouldn't mind a change of career to be honest. Construction is growing a bit old.

eh... politics don't belong here but honestly thats pretty good money for photography but unfortunately I cannot take that kind of deduct. Now if it was double that salary I wouldn't mind switching but doubt very many but the top pro's make better than double that.

honestly it would make me cringe... I like photography as a hobby.

Maybe something to do with the working environment.
From the announcement:

You may be required to work other than normal duty hours
Work may require travel on military or commercial aircraft
You may be required to be on call 24 hours a day

I wouldn't mind that job no matter who the president is. You're working for the security of the country. Not protecting just the president.

Not Applicable

Maybe just sign your name with an "X"?

Sounds like fun, but:

Already retired federal service. Can't collect retirement AND paycheck.
Already spent 9 years shooting for the Defense Department.
After 37 years of federal service, the only benefit I can see is that you'll be surrounded by imbeciles more concerned with KEEPING the D!CK jobs than doing them. They'll never notice you doing the same. Great path to complete job dissatisfaction and incredible tedium. But, HEY! It pays well.
