Great egret,or great heron?

I looked it up,said great egrets have black legs,but great herons stick to South Fl..Im in NC Fl..thanks

I'd say it's a Great White Heron, based on leg color. The Crossley Guide says they are normally restricted to the Florida Keys, but that vagrants have been found elsewhere, as far as the NE.
