Please help me with autofocus on 5DSR

Hello everybody I hope all is well. I'm trying to learn the autofocus system on the 5DSR. Also, the AF-On button and how to use it. Which cases to use certain autofocus modes. I'd highly appreciate any help you could give a rookie. Thanks and Merry Chirstmas. Hope all is well.

Canon has several reference white papers.

I think Canon's AutoFocus manual for the 7D2 explains a lot about the different settings like what they do, and in which circumstances to use what. Not the OWNER'S MANUAL, the AF Manual. It is called: EOS 7D Mark II AF-Setting Guidebook. I don't have a link, but I have a PDF copy. PM your email and I'll send it to you.

As far as I know the AF System for the 5DS/Sr is identical to the system in the 5DIII, so any guide for the 5DIII will also apply to your camera.
