Any body ever used this site and the Street Prices section?

Yes. I've bought several bodies and lenses through their refurb links, when the time and prices are right. Most times they aren't. But every now and then...

If you are wanting to use their street price option, also check out Greentoe as they have an option where you can save even more. I think I paid about $50-$100 less than street price on a lens I bought a year or so back.

Depends on the authorized retailer they hook you uo with and where you live. I was not charged sales tax.

I have used canonpricewatch without any problems. Also greentoe.com can save you money if you are not in a rush.

We try our best to connect you to a dealer that does not charge tax to your state.

As we have different pools of retailers, occasionally Greentoe has lower prices than us, and occasionally we have lower prices than them. In our street price reply e-mails, we'll often have lower prices than posted or secret special offers/bundles, so it's always best you inquire or ask us -- don't just go by our posted price.

Yes CPW has been totally reliable for me, as has Greentoe. If time to receive is a factor CPW wins. If Price is the primary factor then you should check with both sites.

Used street prices once (it was a supplier you would know) went well. I particularly like their updates on special deals on canon direct refurbs Some of those prices are below used forum pricing. I like them.
