I did an event for someone in my community,my first paid event. My camera is a 7d Mark II . Used a Sigma 17-50 f2.8 lens and a speed lite 430 exii. Pictures came out pretty good but need some critiquing on shots with guys wearing white shirts please. Too much light? Don’t use flash?

Flash isn't the problem. The problem is that your white balance is all over the place. Direct flash should have a Kelvin temp of 5400. Set your camera's WB to manual and dial in 5400 and you'll be good.

Also, next time think about shooting your flash through an umbrella to soften the light.

I think you have room to straighten the second image, to eliminate the line at top.

Was bounce used for the flash?
