Most definitely not taken in 2018, 2011 in fact. Just now "re-discovered" the series though, so it's the first time I've gotten around to processing.

A couple of more from the Loveland Pass area. Great morning light - sunlight filtered through very thin cloud cover.

I am using my Lumix GX8 with a 42mm f1.2 Leica Nocticron lens. Weather dull and overcast with minimal highlight and shadow. Time approximately 3:30 pm. I have named it ‘Lovers in the Woods’ as the foreground resembles two people in an embrace.

Had a fantastic, if very long and tiring, hike on and around some of the hills in Galloway Forest Park on Friday.

1. Plateau on top Craignairy, looking out towards The Merrick

Yes, the Galloway hills are worth more attention than the more crowded Munros further north. Thanks for restoring happy memories.

Somewhere up there is a loch in a loch (a lochan on an island in a loch). Have you seen it?
