What's your favorite lens bought in 2017? What lens did you sell that you miss the most?

I bought a Canon EF 16-35 f/4 IS USM that I love. Had to let my EF-S 55-250 STM go (along with all my crop sensor gear).
EDIT: 16-35 example photo taken with 6d mark ii not 6d.

Canon EF 28mm f/1.8 I (re)purchased because it was the lens I missed most.

Favorite lens purchase in 2017 was the 500L II.

The lens I sold in order to get the 500, and which I miss the most, was the 400 DO II. The DO paired perfectly with the 1.4xIII + 80D for a light weight bird rig, but reach is king, and I got a sweet deal on the 500 I couldn’t pass up.

2017 was a big purchase year for me because I brought back 3 lenses which I had sold before, and regretted: 16-35 f/4, 100-400 II, and 24-70 II.

Only bought one, the Siggy 15-600. Really happy with it so far.

Yeah, a lot of shifting of gear around (buy/sell/exchange), trying to finalize my lineup before our first child arrives this summer. After all of the gear swapping, in the end I only increased my total lens count by 1. Still not finished though, as I may be parting with a lens soon.. I have a self-imposed limit on the number of lenses I can have, and I’m one over that limit.

It is a great prime on my 6D, a street lens and good for indoor snaps. Just used this for a weekend in Chicago and I didn’t need anything else. It produces good color and contrast. Pretty sure it will be on my 6D 90% of the time.

Before purchasing again, I missed something wider than my 40mm and wanted more than f/2.8.

Sold 200 F2.8L, sold 135L, sold 17-40L, sold 35 F2 IS, sold 50F1.8 STM, sold 40 F2.8 STM. Miss the 35 F2 IS the most out of that bunch.

Favorite lens this year? Toss up between my 50mm F1.2 or 12mm F2 on my Fuji system.

Hey, I don't mind being the lone crop-guy. My favorites lens purchased in 2017 is the EFs 18-135mm IS STM. Sold the Rokinon 12mm FE, Sigma 15mm FE, Sigma 12-24 II, 17-40, and 18-55 STM. Don't miss any of them, but I will likely replace the 12-24 II with an Σ8-16. I've got this pesky 70-200 f/4L IS waiting to be sold, too.

Just for spit and giggles, my second favorite lens purchased in 2017 is the EF 70-300mm IS USM II. Sehr nett!

I replaced my EF-s 55-250 stm with the 70-300 IS USM II. I like the 70-300 very much. More compact than my 100-400 and I like the shorter range in some situations better than my 100-400 i. I guess I should eventually replace the 100-400 with a 150-600, but not this year.

Two lenses I miss the most Canon 135F/2L and Sigmas 50F1.4 Art.

Probably the best lens of 2017 for me is Fuji’s XF 16mm F/1.4 but having fun with their XF10-24 also
