Every year over 300 trumpeter swans migrate to central Arkansas near Heber Springs to an old oxbow lake -- Magness Lake and some other ponds in the area. They stay in the area from around Thanksgiving to Valentine's. These birds are quite magnificent when they fly over. Also quite noisy both in flight and paddling around the ponds. Here are a few shots from Sunday.
