Tried it on the TT600 speedlight. Both sets of eneloop batteries used were fresh off the charger so no issues there. Haven't checked if there is a newer firmware yet though. Does your xt32 controls work disconnected from the hotshoe?
I use XT32 and FP R2T32's "off camera" for metering and adjusting flash power with Godox AD360II's, CL 360X, AD600B's, FP Xplor 600TTL, V860II, FP Zoom Li-ion R2 TTL, TT685's, and FP eVOLV200 R2's with no issues other than having a low battery one time in an Xplor600 where it would not trigger remotely.
I have some TT600's somewhere that I'll try to locate and test. Then I'll edit this post with my findings unless you or someone else figures something out in the interim.
EDIT: Amazingly found and tested 2 TT600's and had no issue with triggering and adjusting flash power with both an XT32 and FP R2T32 "off camera". Make sure that the TT600 is in Radio Slave configuration with the red light blinking on the front of the flash. Make sure you have the XT32 and TT600 on the same channel and the proper Group set when adjusting flash power.
