I always look forward to visiting both of these endangered species when I visit Florida. This time, I found them both within the same block, late this afternoon.

love the last pic :), Great series. I have to fly to Arizona in the morning and fly back in the afternoon just to see Burrowing owls funny thing is I saw them last hour before I have to go back to the airport :).

Great shots Ian, I was in Cape Coral Saturday trying to locate the owls. I was around the library several times with finding any. Ended up driving down to Ding Darling. Now back in Ohio enjoying 2 degree weather.

That’s a shame Ron. I have been here enough times now that I have all of the key locations saved in my GPS. These owls and scrub Jays were up in the northwest quadrant at the far north end of Chiquita Boulevard. Only the odd time do I actually see owls around the library. Thanks very much for commenting.
