I'd like to hear any thoughts or suggestions on how this could look better please

I'm sure you can tell, but it's a comp - I want to know what you think makes it look like a comp, and what could be done to improve things.

Maybe the car is too sharp, or too bright - but then again I would think manufacturers would want the car to stand out and look sharp..

Thought's welcome

It's a pretty good effort.
The edges of the shadows look too sharp to me, & I'd like to see the whole background a lot darker when you have time to work on it.

The motion blur across the buildings is inconsistent. Also you need to add some Radial Blur to the wheels.

That's normal with a focal plane shutter, so I could go either way with it.

I'd agree with all the above.

But blur seems to suit Horbury. It never looked more beautiful!

The blur on the wheels doesn't match the blur on everything else. Make the wheels spin more.

The portion of the building just behind the car also doesn't match. Match that blur with the rest of the buildings and you're all set.

I think you did an awesome job with it thus far. But I agree with the blur on the wheels and buildings. The wheel just need a touch more I think. But I think the biggest issue is the blurr on the background.

You go from blurry, to not very blurry in the middle, to very blurry again in the right corner which is supposed to be the first point away.

keep in mind when youre blurring motion blur like this that your closest point will be significantly more blurred than your furthest point away, ei: the sky should have little to no blur at all

Thanks very much for the help everyone, it's really helped.

What do we think to this revised version?

Can you save photoshop path blur lines for future use? I can't see how to do that just yet

After the picture above, I thought a bit more blur on the backdrop was needed to make the car stand out again. As ultimately, the car needs to stand out in the picture. This time I did more with the path blur lines so they are more accurate, and I think that's worked.

What do you think to this one?

You still need to add radial-blur to the wheels because the motion-blur in the background suggests that the car is moving.
Also the car should have multiple shadows caused by street-lighting and other road vehicles. The shadow that you have suggests that that car is being lit by the car on the lefthand-side of the road driving away from you.

The shadows is a good shout, thanks
