The focussing range is well suited for such events, and it is light. I just might consider the RF 14-35 f4 L IS version at some time when I have sold some of my unwanted gear. I’d also like to try the RF 24-70 if it has the same definition quality. I have been using the RF 70-200 f4 L, but although superb picture quality I either seem to need to get further away from my subject or in the case of big ship pictures take several parts and stitch them. I could use my EF 24-105 F4 L mk II but the quality is crap - however Canon gave it an L rating is beyond belief! Ray-P
