Just dug out my Ixus V from 17 years ago, with a fresh battery sourced on eBay. Talk about a trip down memory lane, including saving images to a 32Mb CF card!
Anyway, she doesn't do too badly for a whole 2.1Mp, and seems like it will last for a long time yet...
You just never know - maybe when we get to sensors in the 100Mp area as being the new normal, there will be a special place for vintage digital?
