As I sit here with the temperature at 5 degrees and the snow blowing over the ice all I can think of is how cold it is. How about images illustrating "Cold"! Make us all shiver!
The challenge begins when posted, and will end on Saturday, Jan 20th, 2018 at Noon EST. The winner will be announced shortly thereafter.

Well this was a really hard one. Every image and I really mean every image was great.
Teekay's Winter Wreck is a fantastic and chilly capture with the boat's splash of color in the ice.
Tom Reichner's Spring Breakup is a great wildlife capture amid the floating ice. I usually cannot capture ducks in the wild as I never seem to have the right lens.
Old Crow's leaves in ice captures the color of late fall with the frozen winter ice.
Alveric's image left me wondering. It is very artistic and abstract. It certainly conveys cold - and maybe a lot of other thoughts.
Airfrogusmc's Monochrome is also art. The choice of B&W gives it the feeling of a first snowfall of the season on a grey day.
Ltdave's image is unique giving an obscured view of a very cold day. It is a view that would make me shiver and not want to go out and shovel the stuff.
darkslinger's image of snow on the branches is iconic of winter and cold - B&W makes it more wintery
All are great but the winner is Lt Dave giving me the best interpretation of "cold" from a warm place
Old Crow is a close second and splitting hairs, teekay is 3rd.
