Is their any word that canon is coming out with a newer version of the 70-200mm 2.8 l ii anytime soon? I noticed alot of people are selling these off. Thanks and hope all is well.

Near perfect would be excellent image quality across the image plane - something the mk2 does not deliver. It's still Canon's best though
