All to often we hear people complaining when they have received what they believe to be bad service, and I must admit, when something goes wrong, I am one of the first to complain and vent my anger.

However, I am also of the opinion that credit should be given when credit is due and we should give a pat-on-the-back to those who go that little bit further for us; the customer.

I have just had such an experience from www.studioflash.co.uk (external link) (a member and sponsor of this forum) who gave some excellent advice and service last week when I contacted them on Friday.

As a result I placed an order for a MiniMagic TXRX02 Slave Trigger Starter Set, additional Receiver and a Snoot for my Bowens lighting kit. My order was shipped, well packed, on Friday afternoon - and delivered 11:30 Saturday morning!

Having now used the new trigger and receivers, I can also vouch for their efficiency - excellently priced - at a fraction of the cost other units!

So, a big thank you to Barry at www.StudioFlash.co.uk (external link)

Now Thats What I Call Good Service!

Was just about to order from them, thanks for the review.

Did you get the kit with the battery-powered receivers or the mains-powered ones?

Sorry it's taken a while to reply, I have only just come back on-line.

I got the battery powered ones - as I thought that they only take a couple of AAA size, and I can always keep a few spare with me.

That then goes hand-in-hand with the Bowens kit with their power pack, which makes the whole setup extremely portable and none-relient on a trailing lead from the mains power socket.

What do you plan on using your with?
