"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Here are the results:

OldCrow – love the contrasting vertical and horizontal lines, great composition
teekay – this shot is type of setting I like to capture, is it IR? The white foliage is lovely
Tom Reichner – great moment, how did you get him to stand still?
airfrogusmc – I always love your work and this a great example of simplicity, contrast and use of form
texkam – what a great expression you captured and a blue tint for the blues
shep207 – another perfect moment in time, love the sharpness and the white line intersecting the man’s head
Paul B – wish I was on that boat, super image but I would have liked to have seen all of the mast
philk54 – love the building rising up to the moon and subtle use of colour, sorry to say that watermarks always diminish an image in my eyes (I can’t help but stare at them)

It was a tough choice but here goes:
#1 shep207
#2 OldCrow
#3 airfrogusmc

Thank you all for participating, I look forward to seeing the next competition. Take it away shep207!

Congratulations to Shep207, OldCrow and airfrogusmc - all fine images.

Good subject, Darkslinger, and yes, my shot was IR.

Thanks very much! Lots of great entries this week, seems like it was a popular subject. I'll have a new thread started soon and I'll post the link here.
