For Sale: Manfrotto 488RC2 ballhead
Includes 13(yes, 13!) quick-release plates.

Nearly as new. Couple of minor marks from normal use.
Original box; interior packaging not included.

I must have gone crazy with the QR plates a while back, and ended up with
a total of 13 of them. When I found a Hong Kong source of these
on another forum, i must've bought 10 or so on the cheap.
They're cast metal just like the real ones, have a bail wire
to turn the screws, and even have about the same padding material
of strong rubber pads. At least one original Manfrotto QR plate
is included with this sale. A few show depressions where they
have been mounted to lenses for a few years.
All I have used have fit into the head without any trouble.
Some are unused.

Pictures: coming soon.

Reason for selling: Moving to Arca-Swiss type

Condition: Excellent

Payment accepted: Paypal

Ships from: Michigan, United States, 49508

Price: US$55.00 shipped

Shipping to: Continental US only at this price;
other costs may be negotiated for other locations.
Packaging will be robust and more than adequate.

Bump! To include picture of all(more details below).

IMAGE: https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4623/25381149917_b408b6ef83_o.jpg

Original box included; no inserts or papers.
Marks on one plate(shown) are from minor corrosion of one of my
vintage lens' tripod mount. This is present on the single plate only,
and only on the rubber pads. The QR plates have been obtained from
two or more sources. Each source has been sampled/used with no
fit or use problems. I think the original Manfrotto plate is the one
with the gold-colored screw, as it's the only one like that.

You'll find some dust on the head, nothing major, and a couple of nicks
in the paint. Nothing more than to be expected of lightly-used gear.
I lightly oiled the ball upon first use, due to the grease having made it
very sluggish to maneuver. That eased it up nicely, and it remains
the same way in use without being too slippery.
