Grizz1 Goldmember More info | Feb 10, 2018 22:25 | #24 Extraordinary Effort Fourteen months and too many hours of labor later I set this bar height table up in my cabin. It started out as an eleven inch thick, 600 lb stump cut Pin Oak. After planing, drying for weeks than planing to true it up again, sanding for hours upon hours I had my first cup of coffee this evening sitting at this table. It is now 3 inches thick and weighs 102 lbs not counting the 50 lb base made from another tree on my farm that was damaged years ago in an ice storm causing it to form a perfect one piece base. Not the best lens selection, too lazy to change my setup. If Terry notices this pic I wonder if he might remember one similar to it from Medora. Steve

What a great looking table you have created there. Besides all the Extra ordinary Effort you put into this table, you must have a lot of Extraordinary patience. Well done and congrats on having that first cup of coffee on it. Terry --Eating eggs and lovin em.ߘ
