I've wanted to do this shot of my kids for a few years now, and finally got it done! Each child was photographed individually with my Sigma 50mm art lens and then I combined them when I was finished. Lighting was my favorite, good old natural light from a north facing bedroom window. I'll definitely be printing this one big for my wall! I consider it an heirloom portrait that their children, grandchildren, and beyond will enjoy looking at someday. :)

You can see a larger and much better copy HERE (external link).

OH MY GOSH. I love this. Great job, and good idea with doing them separately. I'm sort of amazed this is natural light. Very crisp and clean shots. Good simple edit.

Beautiful work. Not sure how you had the time and energy to create it will 11 kids...Eleven! You are a stronger person than I am. Three beat me most of the time.

I've got two kids and haven't got time to even pick up my camera, how the heck can you churn out such high quality stuff time and time again, I'm guessing you wear a Cape of some sort?

Just an awesome idea and execution. Family will look on this photo for generations to come! Great angle, you can really see some of the similar physical characteristics on some of them as your eyes run down the line.

What a great idea for a family photo! I will steal your idea for my sisters family shoot this coming weekend and I can only hope that I will get it at least half as nice as you have!

Great composite photo of 10 great shots and 1 that almost fits in. It's a shame your eldest daughter isn't quite looking the same direction as the other 10 kids. I'd try correcting that photo before printing huge.
