These two were taken with the H6D-50c and the H 80mm f/2.8.

That first photo is horridly overexposed, Devin! At ISO 200 one would expect to need 1/200 f/16 in bright sunlight (indicated by the shadows cast on the ground)...your indicated exposure would be 3+EV overexposed from Sunny 16 rule of thumb

Devin,

Look up 'Sunny 16', which is merely 1/ISO f/16 is bright sunlight rule of thumb.
There are some derivatives as well, like 1/ISO f/5.6 is rule of thumb for overcast.

These 'rules' were developed before cameras had meters. It provided guidelines for 'proper exposure' when you had no meter at all to use.
Knowing these rules today helps you to recognize what are obvious preposterous combinations of ISO and shutter speed and f/stop, like your severly overexposed first shot.
