Every image I take with this lens has some type of weird doughnut shaped vignette. It only appears on the preview on the back of the camera, and when I first open the image in DPP. If I open it in Lightroom, then the image looks fine. When I open it in DPP it appears for about 10 seconds, and then disappears. However it seems to take a lot longer to open an image from this lens, than with other lenses. Also, when shooting in live view I can see the vignette. In fact, it locked up my 6DII while shooting in live view. The same thing happened with my 1DXII. I saw the vignette on the back of the screen, but I didn't attempt live view shooting. Any Ideas? I bought this lens from a member here, and they have not responded to me asking if this was an issue before they sold it to me.

Here are some examples of what I am talking about.

Not sure if this is the same fix with Tamron and the 6d2 and 1dx2 but sigma lenses did this with the 5D4.

Try turning Peripheral illumination correction off.

Tamron may have documented the problem/resolution at http://www.tamron.com …_release/20170808_02.html (external link).

A full list of Tamron service bulletins are at http://www.tamron.eu/service/service-news/ (external link). The list may be worth checking since by your profile you own some other Canon bodies and a Tamron zoom.
