A set - My son and I

I shot this as a pair, with my son. The idea was for him to learn some photography and for us to make a neat pair of photos together. How do they work?

I'm a real fan of the idea, well done for being able to share something like this with your son.
The results are pretty damn good.

Personally though, I would have preferred the portrait image of your son to have the same orientation as yours.
IMO this would make the 2 images "work" together better.

One little nit pick, get your son to ditch the neck sweater, detracts from the overall image.

That's an interesting take. I actually shot us both facing the same way (because I'm too lazy to move the light) and I wound up flipping his image around to have us facing. I'll look at it the other way again.

Yeah. I looked at it after and saw that zipper pull. Those are the kinds of details that always get me.

I prefer this, rather than the outline of your son.

Oh, yes. I agree, he needed to be turned a few degrees more towards the camera.

These look great! What a fun idea! I like the mirroring of expressions in the photos!
