I just replaced the Sirui clamp. A bit of heat needed to remove it, they assemble with thread locker. It's an 8mm screw.
I used extra padding (water pipe insulation foam) for shoulder carrying.

Although being very mindful because of this news, I nearly stepped on a snake while out birding.
