poor images iPhone X

New iPhone X photos generally fantastic, this part day however on zoom in images quite degraded - settings hadnt changed from normal (hi res) so not sure what was going on this particular day. Any ideas? thanks, Dan

Using "digital" zoom on all phones leads to quite poor results, as your example clearly shows. Use the 2x setting and crop for better results - at least that is my experience.
