See several shorties, but always when it's too late and too dark.

Heh, there aren't any near me, either. I live in Florida. That one was from Yellowstone.

Nice set of numerous Owls. Skill,luck or both have escaped me with any Owl captures, though I live among them and often they awaken me at night, so I can truly appreciate viewing these.

Beautiful collection! I've yet to see a Great Gray in my trips to Yellowstone and the Tetons. Did find a nest with owlets in the Tetons, but the parents didn't come around while we had it staked out.
Maybe this year will be the charm! I'd gladly exchange one of this years Snowy sightings for a Great Gray!
