Filters. Light lenses aren’t a bad thing. Ill focusing ones, not good. Hence, easier to use ND filters for the extra 3-4 stops of light. :)

The M50 can handle a bit higher ISOs up to 800 to maintain the DR capabilities while giving latitude for higher shutter speed.

I've posted this in the lens section, but thought I might have a better chance of a response here:

EF-S 55-250 STM or EF-M 55-200 on my M50-

Which of the two might be expected to be sharper? Price is not a consideration. Pics from the former on the “samples” thread look pretty decent- odd that it's $100 cheaper, maybe the age of the design.

I have both, perhaps I need to dig out the M50 and run a test.

With all the gear I accumulated for the M50, I picked up this messenger bag, and am very pleased with it. I can store all my M gear if desired, or even put a DSLR and a lens along with the M gear. It is a medium sized bag, but they do have a couple smaller options too.

Thanks for all that, TeamSpeed!
If those pics are comparable in regard to any camera shake, etc- wow, there's no comparison. EF-S a clear winner in IQ, and the increased size and weight won't seem like much after lugging around my 300 f/4 and 1.4 tc.

Perhaps the IS system is better in the EFS glass, or there is an IQ advantage on the 55-250. Not sure! :)
