I know that feeling!

My M50 with adapter, TC & Sigma 150-600 and lens hood looks completely hilarious!

Nice shot!

I was playing with the image a bit to try to pull up the details of the hills a little since we don't have any such landscapes here, just flat fields and farms. May I suggest the following edits?

Photoshop Highlight/Shadows to adjust a bit so the shadowy areas come up, then saturation up just a bit on green and yellow channels, and then brightness/contrast to do final adjustment for mood.

I can show my tweaks if desired, but it was such a good picture to work with and I couldn't resist. :)

I can feel the slight breeze moving the clouds. :-) Is that morning or evening light?

It was around 9am. It was pretty foggy on that part of the trip, but with the extended daylight hours during Iceland's summer 9am would probably be considered part of the very long mid-day light. ;-)a

I used DxO PhotoLab, not Photoshop or Lightroom, but here is what I came up with from your suggestions. Feel free to share yours.

Agree, great shot! This also begs for a drone overhead-shot and using a miniature filter in post.

That is a good edit, really brings out the details in the hills. Very cool scenery! I used a bit too much saturation, but other than that, yours is very close to what I was shooting for.

(mine left, yours right)
