Anyone using or have they used the Rokinon 12mm f2 on this body? I always like using a good walk around for general purpose and having a fast wide angle for indoors/low light shots (mainly churches, museums, etc...) when I travel and curious to know if anyone has experience with this lens. Thanks.

No, the mirrorless bodies will AF at f11 and even f13 in good light. The eye/object tracking worked fine, I just waited until the dove was looking in certain directions.

Thanks. Just wondering though if AF speed will have the impact. In other words how will it perform for BIF. Same as bare lens or there will degradation but not to the extent of DSLR?

It will likely depend on lens and teleconverter. The 2xIII was purportedly designed to speed up AF from the previous gen TCs, and the 100-400 II is quite fast as it is.

Therefore, I think the degradation could be different depending on lens and TC. Yes there would have to be a hit to AF speed, no doubt, but some combinations will be worse than others.

5D4 vs M50 with Viltrox Speed Booster (.71x telecompressor / reverse teleconverter)

This shows the two with identical material, both exposed wide open with 1/125 and ISO 400. You can see the field of view differences, exposure differences (1 stop better exposure on the M50) and the DOF between the two.

Baby robin which is getting very tame. Much of the time he/she was within the MFD of the lens so couldn't focus.

Has anyone used M50 + 70-300 F/4-5.6 IS ii combo.
I am planning to make a lighter travel package.
I did get the M50 w/ EF-M 15-45 and EF-M 55-200, but I feel the 55-200 may be bit short at long end.
The combo M50 w/ EF-M 15-45 and 70-300 may be better (a bit bigger and heavier but still manageable)
Any inputs are appreciated.

PS. : I actually do have 70-300 L today. But that makes it too heavy. I will sell that off in case I go with non L

I use the 55-250, it has better IQ than the 55-200.

Thanks. That was one option too.
But then I thought might as well go bit longer.
