Interesting second image.
Do you have a close up of horses and cart?

Sorry, no close up of the horses and carriage. We were hiking through the interior of the island, and I was just trying to get a shot with both the horse carriage and woods with the colors beginning to change.

Horses and carriages are quite common on the island, so it isn't a big deal seeing them. There are no cars allowed on Mackinac Island -- transportation is either by horse, bicycle or walking.

Here's more of a close up horse & carriage shot from a visit to the island earlier this year, using the M50. That's the Grand Hotel in the background.

Thanks. Interesting place.
It's hard to grasp your huge lakes we'd sit in.

Good to see, thanks again

Mackinac Island is a very cool place -- it's probably our favorite place for a few days getaway. We live four hours from the ferry docks that take you to the island.

Here are some other shots of the island, from this and previous trips, taken with the M50. I have many more photos taken with other cameras, as we've been visiting the island for many, many years.

Arch Rock, in the fog:

Learned hard way today that M50 popup flash can not act as master (to file other speedlights remotely). :-(
I wanted to make lighter macro rig by firing remote 270ex ii using the popup flash. But oh well...
I do have the flash cable though, but would have liked it to be triggered w/o it. (Especially would have been handy to fire dual 270ex ii)

With the M50 Mk II being announced, I was wondering, does the M series have the same accurate focusing with M lenses and EF lenses that the R series does? I read that the R series even seems to be more accurate with AF even with adapted EF lenses. Just curious. Might consider a M50 as a replacement for an aging T3i

The M6 Mark II has spectacularly good AF with my EF lenses. I shoot youth sports with that camera and either the 17-55/2.8 or the 70-300L, and the AF is spot on for almost every shot. I can’t speak to the M50.

AF with my EF-M lens is good.

I know this is not even close to be a good picture. But I attempted to capture (Saturn and Jupiter). Lot of learning in this kind of photography.

That's fantastic compared to my last attempt. Well done.

Dang! I didn't think you could capture the rings from the ground without a much longer focal length. Nice job!
