Are you wanting to use this lens on the Canon camera you have listed: 750D/T6i? If so, that APS-C model can use the excellent Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS UM. Cost is about the same as the EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM.

The EF-S 17-55mm gives you the f/2.8 you want, plus IS, plus top image quality and fast USM AF... and an even wider range of focal lengths than the 16-35mm. The latter is an L, so should have superior build and sealing... but the 17-55mm is pretty darned good "mid-grade". The main thing, it's image quality and general performance is "L-like". Note: Early copies of the 17-55mm had problem with dust getting inside, under the front element... but I don't see anyone citing that problem any more, so I suspect it Canon made some changes and improved the sealing. One difference to be aware of, the 17-55mm doesn't come with a lens hood, it's sold separately (while the L-series does incl. the hood).

If you don't need to use the lens on full frame, the EF-S is worth consideration. (Wyntastr will need to hold out for an EF or other full frame lens, to use on 6D. My advice in that case is don't cheap out too much.... lenses make a lot more difference in image quality, than the cameras they are used upon. IMO, many people overspend on the camera and underspend on the lenses they choose to use upon it.)

Personally for low light shooting I just switch to even faster primes.... many of which are f/2, f/1.8 or f/1.4... one to two stops faster than an f/2.8 zoom, while being smaller, lighter and less expensive.
