Mar 02, 2018 06:21 | #2 Hi Ian. Both photos are good (as usual) but #1 is extra special. I don't recall seeing a photo of a flying eagle against a simple black background that nicely sets off the bird like that. Normally it would be just a boring blue or grey sky. Well done. Love that shot.

If I recall correctly, the BG was in shadow from a cloud and the eagle was in brighter light/sun, so when I had to lower the exposure in post just a bit so the highlights of the eagle weren't blown out, the background went real dark.
