Normally $100. Note the OS requirements before buying. The bad reviews are people that purchased and then found out it is not compatible with Windows 7 32 bit.

Same price on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com …bscription/dp/B0755K3HQV/ (external link)
(box, not download)

Read reviews on Amazon before you buy.

Many more reviews on amazon, but 26% are lowest (1 star) rating (instant death to me). And not about compatibility. They're about sound, video, etc. issues.
Only 43% good reviews (4 and 5 star totaled) which is also instant death to me.
Not a well-rated product with lots of negative reviews. Negative reviews (1 and 2 star) are 47% which outweigh the positive.

Bottom line: read the reviews on amazon carefully and also search for independent reviews before purchasing, wherever you purchase.

The issues apparently involve Dolby audio support. Adobe chose to not add this licensing and Adobeforum discussions seem to indicate it won't be added in the future. An OS like Windows 10 has a built in Dolby codec and hence doesn't seem to present any issues.

I do very little video and it would be basic editing so I think I will give it a try.
