Hi guys, I'm new to this photography forum, and Im looking for advice regarding the strobe, since it misfires most of the time. the bulb needs to be replace since one of the copper rod is almost totally burned out. and the socket on the flash head itself also got burn out. My question is , by buying a new bulb fix the misfire ?

You need to figure out why that contact has been utterly destroyed, I've only seen that before when someone has pulled a tube/cable out while the head/pack was firing.

I'd guess the tube was loose and firing the head caused that to happen, at the very least you need to properly clean the contacts so a new tube will have a good electrical contact otherwise it won't work properly but if you don't find the cause you could just end up doing the same thing to a new tube.
