Which lens is the better lens. The Canon 16-35 f4 or Tamron 15-30. They cost about the same, both get good reviews, here and other sites. Please help. I’m so confused

Mar 11, 2018 18:26 | #2 No idea on the Tamron as I have never used one! However I can say, with confidence, that the Canon 16-35 F4 L IS performs far better than I expected at the price - I am one very happy owner!. Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).

I don't know much about the Tamron either, but one thing to note is that the Canon is definitely sharper at the wide end than the long end. So if you think you will mostly use them at one end ot the other, that might factor into your decision. Better meaning sharpness, build, etc
