I'm loving the new feedback system. However, I'm trying to leave feedback for a buyer on my sale thread - https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1491521

However, when I click on the Give Feedback button, nothing shows up. I noticed that it happens only if the thread is CLOSED. If I click on the button on any of my closed threads, nothing shows up. But if I click on a thread that is still available and not closed, the options shows up.

Except that it is closed since the new feedback system was installed with the latest update.

I just went to the thread, it it still does not have 'Closed' status, and posts from Mar 9 are the most recent additions.
If there is a new feedback method, someone could do members a favor by posting a link to said feedback mechanism.

If that is so then it is bug. I reopened the thread now, see of you can now give feedback. I’ll fix that bug in couple of weeks.

I was able to leave feedback for the buyer. Once I left the feedback, I closed the listing.

I was wishing to give feedback for a recent purchase but the thread is closed. I am hesitant to give feedback till the transaction is completed and I've received and verified my purchase. As a seller they close the thread once sold to prevent further inquiries. Shouldn't the buyer be able to provide feedback for a transaction? Maybe when the thread is closed due to a sale a name of purchaser can be added to allow for feedback. If no name is provided or after feedback provided the thread can be officially locked?

As the Marketplace feedback thread is closed there is no other avenue to give positive feedback.

The way a famous other forum works is that if you buy something from someone, you just reply with a "tagged" comment. Later, even if the thread is locked, as long as you have a reply in that thread, you can leave feedback. The locking of a thread should not prevent feedback tools from activating, IMO. However I am ignorant of how the current system works as I haven't bought or sold anything since it went live.

+1 on all that. I had a good transaction but cannot give feedback to the member.

I went back to my own sale post and clicked give feedback (to myself) which it states I can’t give feedback to myself, obviously, but it does allow me pick a target member from the list given which included last 50 members I have PM’d
