Shot at the Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Delray Beach, FL handheld with my new Sigma 150-600 Contemporary on an old 40D. My new 7D II arrived yesterday and I can't wait to shoot with it this weekend! These are the first shots I've taken in a couple of years but I'm really looking forward to getting back in to the hobby - I missed it!

C&C always welcomed (I'm also rusty on my ID's so please correct me if I missed one)

That lens and my 7Dll are about alk I use now for birding. Very happy. Did you get the dock for the lens? Well worth the $50. IMO.

Very nice shots. I never did learn to differentiate the Great Tail and Boat Tails.

Look like great photos.

I shoot witb the original 7d and the Sigma 150-600C.
It’s a very good combo. Maybe someday I’ll get the 7d2 and up my game.
