I think ALL owls are beautiful!

Sadly I have never been able to photograph one.....

Male Powerful owl holding a Ring-tailed possum.

Female Powerful owl. Chick (or chicks) 15 days old. She's still spending most of the day inside the hollow keeping them warm.
Her brooding patch is visible.

Great shots - is there a visible difference between the male and female? Or do you just know which is which because you've been observing them for so long?

Thanks. I can recognise them by appearance. Currently easy as male roosts outside, female is in the hollow most of the time. She is also becoming dirty from being inside the hollow and not bathing, also her tail feathers are getting tatty.
